Who do you use to ship your orders?
All of our orders are shipped via USPS and can be shipped a few different ways, so check out the various options..
Media Mail - Restrictions Apply
If you're not in a rush, shipping your order by media mail will save you a ton on shipping. media mail is a special service created by the Post Office aimed at spreading art, music, and knowledge with minimal costs. The trade-off is the time you have to wait for delivery.
West Coast may take 2 to 5 days
East Coast is 4 to 9 days (generally).
This service can ONLY be used to ship: books, film, manuscripts, printed music, printed test materials, sound recordings, play scripts, printed educational charts, loose-leaf pages, videotapes, and computer-recorded media like CD, DVDs and memory cards.
How fast will my order ship?
Hopefully by the next business day! But please allow up to 7 days for your order to ship, unless it is a pre-order of course.
The item mentioned a FREE digital download, where do i get it?
You can access all of your digital downloads by accessing your account, and then viewing the My Downloads page! Downloads are only available one time, with a time delay to allow for a second attempt in the case the download fails on first attempt. If you are ordering a release that is on pre-order, then the download will not be available until the street date, unless the item is a repress pre-order of course!
You shipped my package, but i haven't gotten it yet?
When you were checking out did you make sure the PayPal ship to address was where you wanted it to go? For orders shipped in the United States we print our postage via PayPal and it pulls the address in there, so make sure its the same, otherwise your package is probably at whatever address is listed there.
If i order a poster and a t-shirt, will the poster come in a tube?
If you live in the US and are ordering poster along with some other items, unless you want the poster to come folded you will need to order a poster tube which covers the cost to ship the poster in a tube by itself to you on its own. If you order JUST a poster, your poster will be shipped in a poster tube already, so no need to order a tube!
And lastly, if you live outside of the US, if you do not want your poster to be folded you will have to order JUST a poster, if you order a poster with a t-shirt or any other item, your poster will come folded automatically.
Can you mark the customs form as "Gift" or "Commercial Sample"?
Absolutely NOT! We must declare all packages shipped by No Sleep as "merchandise". There are no exceptions. Customs officials aren't idiots, and they would figure it out if we did (and you would not get your package).
Will I have to pay any extra taxes when I receive my order?
Some countries charge you an import tax on certain items if the value is over a certain amount. Each country has different laws for the amount of tax (if any) that you must pay before customs will release your package to you. These taxes are out of our control and there is no way No Sleep can pre-pay these taxes. This is a tax that your country charges you to discourage you from buying things from out of your own country. You should contact your local custom's people to ask if your country has an import tax and on what type of products it applies to.
What are the measurements of your ________?
All of our apparel varies from time to time as it's not ALWAYS the same brand, but here are some approximate measurements for you to go by when ordering your t-shirts and sweatshirts.
T-Shirts:
20" x 25" - YL
18" x 27" - S
20" x 28" - M
22" x 30" - L
24" x 32" - XL
26" x 33" - XXL
Sweatshirts:
20" x 27" - S
22" x 27" - M
25" x 27" - L
28" x 27" - XL
30" x 29" - XXL
Do you take anything other then PayPal?
We currently only take payments through the PayPal system, BUT you can order from us through PayPal on your credit card with no PayPal account needed!
I tried ordering, and got a message saying "Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address.", can you help?
PayPal is funky with addresses sometimes, try putting your state in two letters, ie: CA for California, etc.
I live in ________, will you ship to me? If so how much is it?
Yes! We will ship worldwide, from time to time there are certain areas (or orders) that will not be filled if it seems like fraud, but otherwise yes we will. Just add your items to your cart and you will get a weight based shipping price to your area at checkout.
How much is shipping?
Depends where you live! But shipping is weight based + a handling fee which covers the cost of packaging (mailer, tape, etc) and whatever other costs would be involved.
Why was i charged a 3% sales tax on my order?
The 3% sales tax is to cover the 2.9-3% that PayPal charges us for your order!
I just pre-ordered __________, when should i expect to receive it?
Generally we will try and have your package to you atleast the week before the street date if not sooner, sometimes due to technicalities beyond our control though this could not be the case, but if that is the case you will be notified as soon as we know about this! So expect it atleast the week before said release streets! But again there is no exact guarantee for this, especially if it is a vinyl release.
If i order other items with my pre-order, will i receive them now or what?
If you order any other items with your pre-order those items will not ship until the pre-order ships, so if you want the other items to arrive sooner you will have to place to orders.
My pre-order hasn't shown up yet, what is the deal?
As stated on the item pages for pre-orders the ship date is always TBD as there is no guarantee on when it will ship, if all goes right in manufacturing we hope for orders to ship before the street date, but sadly from time to time shipping can be delayed a couple days, weeks or longer after a street date.
If i order multiple copies of an item that includes a LTD bonus item, will i get more than one of the limited item?
Chances are you will not get more than one of the LTD item since it is suppose to be for the first x customers that order an item, but from time to time you might get more!
What is your return policy?
CDs can be returned as long as they have not been opened, Vinyl and apparel can not be returned at all. Contact us if you have any questions.
My package from you guys was damaged in transit, can you help?
Once the package is dropped off at the post office the package is out of our hands and we are not responsible for any items that are damaged in transit from there to you. But if your order looks like it was hacked up by Jason Voorhees with a machete, let us know and we will do what we can to help you out.
Can i get some free stuff with my order?
Yeah we always will try and throw in some free goodies in every order as long as we have some stuff available!
